General information about the degree program The CAN curriculum covers the entire spectrum of cognitive-affective neurosciences. It contains modules for the basics, methods, and applications of cognitive-affective neurosciences and can be supplemented with curricula in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy or Human Performance in Socio-Technical Systems programs.

Students can rely on an excellent technical infrastructure, including a research-dedicated 3 Tesla MRI scanner, multiple labs for behavioral experiments, as well as for psychophysiological, biochemical, and immunological research. The course of study consists of eight mandatory modules, among them Cognitive Neuroscience, Psychobiology, Neurobiology of Individual Differences, and Cognitive Neuroscience Methods, and two mandatory elective modules from Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy or Human Performance in Socio-Technical Systems.
